The ingredients needed to make Handvo:
  1. Take 2 cups rice
  2. Get 1/2 cup urad dal
  3. Get 1/2 cup moong dal
  4. Take 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  5. Take 1 tbsp curd or 4/5 drops lemon juice
  6. You need To taste Salt
  7. Take 1 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
  8. Take 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
  9. Prepare 1 tsp mustard seeds
  10. Use 1 tsp sesame seeds
  11. Provide 1 cup Cabbage finely grated
  12. Provide 1/2 cup carrots Finely grated
  13. Take 1 tbsp Ginger paste
Steps to make Handvo:
  1. Wash all the daal and Rice and soak for 4 to 5 hours.
  2. Now grind them and keep aside 2 to 3 hours for fermentation.
  3. Now add turmeric, salt, green chilli, red chilli powder, ginger paste, chopped carrot, chopped cabbages, and 4-5 drops lemon or 2 tbsp curd mix them well rest for 5 mins, now in a sauce pan add oil, (2tbs),add jeera, Hari mirch, Sesame seeds crackle them now pours 2 cups batter and spread it, cover it,(on medium flame)5 mins after turn it and again cook for 5-7 mins check it with fork.
