The ingredients needed to prepare Magic Lemonade:
- Get 10-15 butterfly blue pea flowers
- Use 4 tsp sugar
- Get 2 lemons
- You need Crushed ice
- Provide 1 +1 glass water
Steps to make Magic Lemonade:
- Take fresh blue pea flowers and wash them. You can also use dried flowers.
- Put the flowers in hot water, cover with a lid and let them steep for 7-8 mins.
- Once steeped, the water will turn a beautiful shade of blue. Let it cool down slightly for 2/3 mins.
- Using a sieve, get rid of the blue pea flowers.
- In a glass, add the blue pea tea and then add lots of crushed ice.
- Put mixture of lemon juice and sugar over the ice. Now it will start to turn purple. Further add water and serve.
- Note: You can replace sugar with honey and lemon with lime. Also, if you like fizz, then instead of topping it up with water in the end, top it with soda.
